Sometimes I wonder if there's such thing as karma. Just look at the white scums. The more evil they commit, the more prosperous they become.
Wake up, there is no karma. Some people get retribution for evil deeds. Many more get away. For the ones that were caught, people rejoice and call it karma at work. They always got first hand demographic information and can easily draw the boundaries of the constituency to their own advantages.
They have all the resources at their disposal to walk the ground well ahead and give out freebies to garner votes.
They have already planned well ahead in time several months back even before releasing the actual date of election to the OPPO.
If you observe closely they don't spend time putting in so much effort in their speeches during rallies, all they do is talk cock and focus mostly on what they've done for the residents
of their town and they always can almost immediately project what sort of developments and facilities they can come out with for the residents of the town.
Most of the OPPO on contrary cannot do that as most of them has a full time job while only dedicate their spare time to the residents.
Not only they have limited resources and funding and also insufficient time to plan and prepare ahead for the election.
Compared this to countries like America, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, most of the parties are operating and functioning like an business organization.
They have their own business to run and able to fund the activities of their party with some of the profits and they can afford to hire workers and
spend $$$ to contribute back to the society to help the residents of the town. That's one of the reason where they can gain their supporters to vote them into parliament.

All the oppo needs is a billionaire sympathetic to their cause and willing to pump in a few hundred million into their campaign and the tables will turn.

Foreign funding is prohibited. As for local billionaire, life is too good to get involved in politics. A local billionaire going against pappies? It will happen only in fantasy island.
You never know. A few millionaires banding together or a billionaire "new citizen" with deep political ambitions may just change things.

In any country, a politician need many supporters to get them into power.
To win over supporters a politician must be financially sound with a huge pool of resources to back them up.
Only with a huge funding, a politician can then walk the talk by focusing on their supporters needs, do them a favor, benefits them and eventually bring them over to their side.
What the OPPO lack is simply money and if they do have all the funding that they need, the political playing field will then be so much different.
The OPPO need to start looking at better ways on how other political parties in our neighboring countries like Taiwan, Japan, Korea operate to fund their party's activities.
If they can settle their differences in ideology, see each other in common ground and merge into a bigger party, chances of making a come back will be much higher.
If the OPPO still choose to fight in solo based on their own ideology, they will never be able to pit their wits against such a huge political machinery.
When you legalize any corruption, it means no corruption..
