GE 2015 Landslide Victory...My fear

1. PM will have to keep importing new citizens to grow his GDP and to grow his personal and his elite salary income.
The newly minted citizens will be good citizens. ever loyal and faithful and will give them their vote. ( this may explain the vote swing last night)
2. Soon we will reach the 6.9 million as planned....2 million ethnic, real Singaporeans and 5 million new citizens.
Then we become a minority, carrying arms to do our NS duty to protect the total 6.9 million inhabitants and their prized properties.

Now, take a step back...is this a good way forward for us and our children..?? To be a minority but with the promise given by our leaders that we will be enjoying First World status, with more millionaires and a much higher standard of living, together with higher living cost fighting for the limited living space in this 700 sq Km space.

IS THIS WHAT WE VOTE FOR LAST NIGHT...???

Even if, hypothetically, the opposition parties had won the 20-30 seats they were hyped to win, due to the lack of a simple majority the PAP is still going to steamroll through all its policies. No one can veto their plans.

Have no fear, be steady, man. Pappies' win is not sustainable in next GE. Pappies are just playing musical chair by importing more foreign sinkies but one day, some of them will become pro oppo parties supporters when they cannot find what they seek to find in the island, and pappies cannot stop the music. Still, the music must end one day and pappies will collapse.

This is the karma for importing foreign sinkies not born in the country.

Don't give up on your country just because of one setback. Pappies cannot rule or exist forever. The music must end one day. These new shitizens will also become frustrated in the future, just like the locals are now. New broom sweeps clean but in time to come, they will also be disillusioned. Han Hui Hui is just one of them.

The next GE is only 4 years away. No need to flee. Hang loose in the country and stay around to vote for a multi parties parliament.

If I were the WP, with the rare opportunity to be inside the Parliament, I would have tabled for the need of an INDEPENDENT Election Commission from Day 1 and at every Parliament session and give the PAP no peace.

No. 2, we need third party newspapers and broadcasting station.

Until we have these 2 conditions done, it will be a tough fight every election for the oppo parties.
