Papzis thought they could hijack the elections by just talking about AHPETC and avoid the thorny issues like immigrants and cost of living etc. We are half way thru and they realised now ppl are sick of their barking.
Ppl are asking what about the 6.9 population increase, CPF, accountability, checks and balances etc?
Maybe someone told them the AHPETC strategy was not working and they refused to listen.
My thinking is that PAP should try to explain their policies (6.9M population etc, MedishieldLife, CECA etc) instead of trying to keep quiet. Some people will be upset, that is for sure but if they can articulate the reasons, people may buy in.
They must remember that trying to imply how dishonest the other party is does note make them honest in the eyes of the voters.
