today China's leaders should face up and reflect on the true history of the war while condemning Japan for the war aggression and not facing up to history. the Chinese Communist armed forces evaded the Japanese invaders for 8 long years, rarely fought a decent battle, and persistently sabotaged the then ruling Nationalist government's military efforts. today, they actually have the face to tell Chinese people and the world that they played a pivot role in the war. :mad:

The fact remains the communist guerilla tactics against the Japanese bastards work and KMT Chiang was sending a force to annihilate the Communists then. The KMT has to attack the Japanese because it is only interested in the eastern costal areas where all the riches are and it is sandwiched between the Communists in the central and west and Japanese bastards in the East. If they do not fight, they will also be toast.

The question to ask is why isn't Taiwan celebrating? Why isn't Singapore celebrating?
Oh I know, Singapore and Taiwan govt are still licking Japanese dicks now.

according to Mao Zedong selection works published by the CCP, Mao's strategy during the war (1937) was 70% expanding power and territory, 20% contending against the KMT and 10% resisting the Japanese.

the KMT or Nationalists fought the Japanese and Puppet forces, the CCP only fought against the Puppet forces with the odd Japanese regiment or companies for support.

the KMT directed both the conventional and guerrilla battles against the Japanese during the war. the CCP refused to cooperate with the KMT and fought its own way of battles to serve its selfish purposes and objectives, and their military efforts overall made no significant contribution toward China's war efforts throughout the war.
