We all know the WP leadership have problems with the older members who they found harder to ctrl because the older folks have seen the world...

"Empower your future" was meant to effectively sideline all the elder members... WP like to talk about helping older workers and honouring first generation Singaporeans.

The only reasons older candidates like Gurmit , Soma and Firuz are fielded is because they are minority..

In the late 90s, SPF started this 'empowerment' thing. Some scholar probably suggested this. While it is great to empower people, the SPF initiative fell flat on its face. Senior management was more interested in WHO went wrong than WHAT went wrong.
