Khaw used confidential information on a private company from IRAS to attack the WP.

This abuse of commercial privacy worries the business community as what safeguard is there to keep other ministers, senior civil servants from abusing this? Before investing in a private company, they could get the financial info from the IRAS. This is no different from insider trading as internal informatin is made available to some so that they have an advantage.
Another scenario would be they gather information of another company for the friends.

PM should tell sinkees what safeguards is in place to prevent ministers and senior civil servants from abusing this access to IRAS data.

It would seem that accessing such information for political reasons are par for the course.

It all started way back of course, to the day when Chiam See Tong's 'O' level results were
announced by LKY to the world, and comparing his results with Mah Bow Tan. Never mind
the fact that CST had moved on, and qualified as a lawyer from London.

Even in HK they got data protection laws.

It is illegal to retrieve private information about individuals without their permission.

Regimes which don't respect people privacy should be voted out!!

everything you need to know about the transparency,
the honesty and everything else good.
