Remembering a heroine: Madam Cheng Seang Ho the "Granny soldier." At age 66 she joined Dalforce and fought the Japanese at the Battle of Bukit Brown. This picture of her was taken when she attended the memorial for Dalforce at Krani War Memorial when she was 88. At the ceremonies, dressed in her siple sam foo, she broke through the audience and began the traditional Chinese wailing for the dead. Thank you aunty for your incredible courage.

prataman and ah gong deserved the heroes' award for feigning their way deep into the tiger's den and and working as quadruple agents for the allies. such heroics had never been achieved by anyone in history until the deed of the duo. the japs were confused and caught off guard, and the allies too. both sides thought they were their trusted agents. and until today they are still confused. :*:
