Hsien Loong's Misjudgement

As usual LHL misjudged again.

He thinks that the crash will happen next year and decided to call GE soon.

But the markets have tanked and there is much blood shed all round.

Will the bloodbath continue into Sep?

Will LHL have GE on 12 Sep?

This is going to be an interesting GE if market crash doesn't abate and GE is in Sept.

LHL's fixing of WP using AIM, manipulation of AHPETC funds, etc has misfired. Residents are angry for LHL's dishonourable conduct to fix WP. WP has maintained an honourable approach.

Let us see whether LHL has the courage to see through his misjudgement and hold GE in Sep 2015. I presume he has gone too far down the road to turn back. So GE will likely be held next month in the midst of a looming market crash.

Will this misjudgement be the last straw that breaks PAP's back?

The aristocrap assumes that people will be more likely to vote pap during carnage but he doesnt know that people these days are smarter and have realised that he gas no control or sat over how the world markets perform.....

Only his husband thinks she has the power .....lol.......

well said. his assumptions are indeed wrong. worse is he constantly makes wrong jidgements.

Another recent wrong judgement is that he thinks Singaporeans respect for LKY will trun into votes for the pap. He lacks the discernment to realise that LKY earned our respect for who he was and what he did for Singapore from 1965 to 2005. He doesn't realise that Singaporeans are voted for the future not vote for past glories. He doesn't realise that singaporeans vote for the present pap, not for LKY.

Therefore, his judgement that LKY's death may win pap votes is wrong.

Let all singaporeans give the present pap a knock out vote

Absolutely. SG was not built by LKY alone. The 1st generation pap leaders were outstanding. Likewise the Pioneer Generation Singaporeans were excellent too. But they didn't have CPF and couldn't build their nest eggs.

Look at the plight of the Pioneer Generation now? Left in the lurch by the present pap because of their growth at all costs economic model. The Pioneer Generation is suffering

The Pioneer Generation are in "purgatory" on earth now, for they have voted for the people who hold on to their CPF & give them in drips...they deserve it! if they do not repent & redeem themselves....they will be in "hell" on earth soon.

hahaha. I like your description which accurately describes the plight of the Pioneer Generation.

That's why I hv been urging Singaporeans to wake up and vote against pap which only takes care of themselves. If the present voters vote for the pap, they will suffer purgatory and hell on earth later under the pap and experience what the Pioneer Genaeration is suffering now.

They have nothing new to offer, what do we have? ex-army generals, ex-policeman, ex-GLC's personnel, ex-civil servants..same old, rejects from last election, recycled!, you are not getting anything newer than this!....like the Cantonese Saying " Law Die Chan"..meaning, scrapping the bottom of the barrel for the last oranges...

They no longer hungry driven people, who really serve the people...they are egoistic, status hungry & money driven people. Let's not talk about the next 50 years...the next 5 years..it will be "hell" for most Singaporeans, especially those in the 30-40 age groups, where they have to struggle really hard to feed a government, then a family....it will be "hell" on earth for them...for the Pioneer Generation....many would be in HELL.

The PAP will benefit tremendously from the current market turmoil because when the storm hits, the citizens of Singapore know that they need an experienced Captain and a well trained crew to steady the helm.

LHL is the man who can steer the country through rough waters.

The economy aside, Lee Hsien Loong is also trying to cash in on the euphoria of SG50, Pioneer bribery and the sympathy from LKY kicking the bucket. Waiting too long will diminish the effectiveness of these conditions. :wink:

That's very true.

Carrots are dished out during SG50. Let's take the carrots and stick vote against the pap

That's why time to vote out old dogs and replace them with younger politicians with new ideas.

There is much merit in limiting PMs and Presidents to two terms.

LHL is expired and obsolete. He sounds like an old record, harping over old ideas which don't work anymore

We have forgotten so fast, we are really a nation of people, who like to be 'punished'...who was the Finance Minister who "assisted" the economy into a recession in 1984...due to "arrogant" outlook? There were three "wisemen" who steered us into "economic backwaters" ...& the same "wisemen" at the 1991 election debrief were to "fix" the economy & one of the "wiseman" is guarding the "keys to the safe" & the other is still dragging "one faulty ball"...helming a GRC!

We are recycling stale "beers" & repackaging them into "VINTAGE SG50" Brew....the ones that the SG50 generation..will drink to their hell..oops! to their HEALTH..."yam seng"... :rolleyes:

SG needs new blood , fresh ideas and new leaders. PAP is relying on GCY, LHL, LSS, etc, is expired and redundant. Singaporeans must see hope in the future and not bask on past glories. Let's move ahead and not look back at the rear mirror

LHL is doing "rear mirror" driving at the moment & hanging his daddy photo for a good luck charm....

Putting ex-armed forces personnel in politics, is not new blood, new ideas.....these people have no fresh ideas, no hunger, no drive...only driven by the promise of continuous big fat income, dare they say...I sacrifice my pay to take home a minimum sum to serve the people?? minimum sum means minimum salary.....

Exactly, and he doesn't see the way ahead. He is leading SG into the cliff with his fixation on the rear mirror and past glories. He has no idea on the way forward, except to open SG to migrant cheap labour and vices like gambling. He will drive us over the cliff
