US-Russia Tension Suggests Future War Possible

There are a huge amount of United States, Canadian and other NATO troops mssing and training on Russia's doorstep. It has been reported that in October, NATO will run one of the biggest exercises in years, with around 36,000 military personnel involved in wargames intended to communicate the fact that this military alliance is ready to respond to Russian threats if required.

The well-documented history of relations between Russia and the United States suggests that the relationship between the two nations will always be tense. Unfortunately, recent indicators suggest that a physical conflict between these two nuclear powers cannot be discounted completely.

When you carry out huge military exercises on somebody's doorstep, it's akin to declaring war.

What do you think the US would do if the Russians were to amass 50,000 troops in Mexico and Cuba and do wargames?

This is certainly great news. Wars are always a good thing for the world economy.

war is the most senseless , stupid endeavour under take by human beings.
it is just mass murder on a grand scale to benefit a few.

For the masses, it's senseless, barbaric and stupid. For the elite few, it's a great tool to enrich themselves, entrench their power and exploit the earth's resources.

i seriously doubt it will happen, smart leaders should be doing something to strive for better economy in our era, not by starting a war, not like world war 1 and 2. it is only common sense that peaceful resolution is better way to solve economic problems.

War benefits everyone losers included. Japan would not be where it is today had it not been for its aggression.

As long as humans exist, there will always be some kind of conflict/violence. But war between major powers are going to be very very unlikely. They have too much to lose in a major conflict and will avoid pushing the buttons. If "destruction" of the enemy was desired, Soviet Union and USA would have nuked each other decades ago. They would rather maintain the status quo, enjoy their wealth, and in the meantime, send troops to take care of small groups of disgruntled peoples who form millitias to revenge wrongdoings against them.

We stand a higher chance be getting killed by a dengue-infected mosquito than by nuclear or some big war!

Cheers!
