function in this sort of political environment. If you look carefully, Minister
Lui did not insult or belittle anyone, in particular oppositions in parliament.
He answered questions with technical details and professional. This reflected
his personality and character.
Looking back, Raymond and Mah also failed. The truth is not that they are no
good, their hands are tied. Remember, all of them report back to Temasek and
PMO, and these set ups cannot take NO as answer. After 2 terms of being the lame
duck and making sufficient retirement fund (probably more than $10M++), if you
were him, what would you do? Would you want to be cursed on a daily basis or
exit to have peace of mind? The next person taking over wont change anything, he
would have to execute the “SKY ERP” and more fare hikes as the model is absolute

such Utility, Transport, HDB, CPF et cetera. You believe Gan is the brainchild
behind CPF Medishield Life? Gan is also another lame duck with hands tied
behind, but since it is not hot potato like SMRT break downs, he still can hang
on to his millions and stick around until he cannot take it anymore.
Supreme leader is importing more YES-MEN, police officers and more generals,
similar to what Empress Dowager had done. And more MPs and ministers are
resigning? Can you see the reason? Righteous and good men cannot do well in this
kind of environment. If you look at the parliament, a number of ministers are
not saying much, they keep to themselves. Only a few such as the Malaysian cow,
Jo, Disgraceful, Big nosed Teo, et cetera are speaking and most often defending
lousy policies, belittling and insulting oppositions. In ancient time, this is
call petty minds reign （小人得志）。
Righteous and good men cannot do well in this political climate, so now you
see an exodus of MPs and ministers resigning. Inderjit Singh even wrote 24
reasons that explains clearly the situation. As for Lui, he probably had enough
of the public curse and swear and inability to tell his masters to tone down
their greed.
This GE 2015 either the voters endorse this sort of political team/climate
for next 5 years or send them a message to reflect and change. The choice is
entirely
yours.
