Was shopping this evening around Peh-sua-pu the old name of Bugis Street today and chanced upon a "French" joint known as Poulet in Bugis Plus 4th floor.

Started off with an onion soup


Tomato salad - vine tomatoes, resin, feta cheese & apricot


Escargot


Two mains - chicken


and Lamb shank


The sauces for both meats are thick and tasty. Not bad, can go back.

french snail is better than singapore snail
but no way french chicken is better than singapore chicken.
we have hananiese chicken rice. the world best chicken.

I have to admit I have my suspicion that they are all pre-prepared.

yep, nowsadays all prepared in a central kitchen and transferred to the respective chain outlets to finish off either in steam oven, salamander etc.
only need to lay on the garnish as it saves time and has some consistency...
