I think the current leaders of the SDP are able to set their priorities right. Thank you for your advice anyway.
Sinkies are not going to vote in a known farker just because he can strum a guitar. That sort of voting will usher Singapore into the Third World, like what we see in many democratic countries. Sinkie voters will ponder carefully and think which party will help secure Singapore's future - economy, security, education, financial reserves, etc. Sinkies can see through Chee's nefarious schemes to get into Parliament. None of the grassroots people are moved by Chee's theatrics.

This is Singapore, not some shitty failed EU welfare state or USA.
Sinkies expect politicians to be as hands-on as an engineer, and not some sort of snake-oil salesman.
Chee does close to zero grassroots work, despises it and does not interact with people. He spends too much time masturbating in his own tower thinking he is well-connected with the ground when he isn't.
PAP MPs do not have to speak or write as well as Chee. They know that they need to DO - interact with residents at grassroots, manage the town council well, make tough choices and balance the needs of the many against the few. Chee has done none of those.
