Lui Tuck Yew has declined to stand for re-election. In other words, KTY has resigned wef from the next GE.

No good people will want to work for a lousy leader like LHL.

LTY and Irene Ng have led the way for other good pap MPs to follow. How many more good MPs will resign?

LHL, with his arrogant and poor leadership, has problem recruiting and retain people.

This is definitely the start of the end of the PAP.

Or will a more capable leader shoo LHL out?

Will Yaacob Ibrahim resign or will he be retired to make way for Masagos?

Will Foo Mee Ha resign too?

It is time deadwood like GCT leaves too. Or are there too many are resigning that LHL has to ask GCT to stay?

LKY, in his wildest dream, would not have anticipated the day the PAP is in such dire strairs?

As most have predicted, a leader, not worth his salt like LHL, cant command the respect of his ministers and MPs. Either he goes or they will go

Given their high salaries and inadequacies, no one resigns from the MIW.

He will lead his PAP team to yet another resounding victory

No doubt about it

PAP has to renew itself
it has to rejuvenate
all twigs have to leave
young blood must be injected into the vein
to keep the PAP young, vigorous, robust, steadfast and strong
and be prepared for the next 50 years


just look at the old oppo team
they look so tired so shagged and so laughable

PM LHL did the right thing
keep the PAP going ...
keep the pap young, strong and robust
through the injection of new candidates and new and talented singaporeans

Minister Lui has served two terms. It's a good time for him to step down and move on. This is called 'party renewal'. PAP will have a former Perm Sec and an another former general to serve in the Cabinet. I get the feeling you are gonna love them!
