Bro & Sis,

Recent Malaysia's news are rather negative,

Many things are slowly unfolding..
Many of our malaysian's friends are feeling tired of the unfolding news..

Investors started to feel a bit shaky..

Might slowly affect the overall society peacefulness & cohesiveness..
Hope not to spread out the emotion..

Singapore leaders are slowly revealing their concern too..

Bro & sis here, Do trade with care if looking for property investment..

We hope our neigbour will recover and be stable soon..

An early sign & cautious..

Najib has done well by sacking his deputy to consolidate his power before his deputy reveals more secrets.

Actually the Chinese there don't know that Najib is actually quite Pro-Chinese/Indian compared to many other UMNO Ministers. At least he don't have a habit or history or babbling racial slurs against the other races or wave Keris on stage to protect their Malay rights. Other UMNO ministers have the hobby of doing so. Even Dr m&d is a bloody racist.

For the first time in over a decade, I began to feel unease over Malaysia's leadership. If a racist chap comes into power, he will surely be Anti-Singapore as well and it doesn't angur well for Singapore 's future, as we need a hinterland to depend on.

When Singapore falls in 20-30 years time, Malaysia & Indonesia will still survive even with a weak leader. Lets all face reality.

Personally I do not think if Najib quits, there will be an anti Singaporean attitude. The bonds are just too strong. Worst case scenario, it will be like Tun M's style. He said it b4 and said it again. He will never kow tow to Singapore but that's it. But I do fear the new DPM should he become the new PM.

What you may want to look out for is the fragile economy. Malaysia depends a lot on petrol dollars and commodities. Both of these are at doldrums.
Malaysia's main export partner China is not doing well. In the short to medium term till 2018, expect the national bank to allow RM to drop to stay competitive. If this fail, then it will increase interest rates to attract fresh inflows. Really nothing much we can do now except to hold tight and see through the rough ride. Tangibles is the order of the day now.

With the oil price still low and showing no signs of recovery and the RM traded at 3.82 to $US1 with many predicting it will slide down further while the National Reserves is at record low to defend the RM, all these are essential ingredients to a possible recession and major inflation.
And worse, with the political situation now in a mess where the Dy PM and the AG can be sacked immediately like junior employees without any valid reason, the under current is still strong when you don't know what major event will happen next.
Things are certainly not looking good in near term and the introduction of the new VEP next month is really rubbing salt into wounds for the retailers and the property market.

With the doubts on 1MDB cleared and Najib integrity restored, he is quite unlucky to be involved in such a fake scandal. Those responsible for such slanders should be detained asap under the ISA.

I am quite curious though who is the doner from the Middle east who is so keen on making UMNO succeed in Malaysia.

Najib is known to be very close to Arabs. In fact he was in Saudi on the invitation of its King 2 months ago. Besides that, Abu Dhabi and Qatar are also heavy investors in KL too.

We all suspect there could be some link to this article:

Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has said he will donate his $32bn (£20bn; €29bn) personal fortune to charity.
The 60-year-old nephew of King Salman is one of the world's richest people.
He said he had been inspired by the Gates Foundation, set up by Bill and Melinda Gates in 1997.
The money would be used to "foster cultural understanding", "empower women", and "provide vital disaster relief", among other things, he said.
Mr Gates praised the decision, calling it an "inspiration to all of us working in philanthropy around the world".
Prince Alwaleed is at number 34 on the Forbes list of the world's richest people.
The money will go to the prince's charitable organisation, Alwaleed Philanthropies, to which he has already donated $3.5bn.
The prince, who does not hold an official government position, is chairman of investment firm Kingdom Holding Company.

The people mentioned are just some very rich people donating to charities or for a good cause and did it proudly.
They are or try to be seen as a philanthropist.
But who in his right mind would donate RM2.6 billion secretly into another country's Prime Minister's private account without anything in return?
All they wanted to do is to try to smoke and disassociate this money linking to the 1MDB case when the PM cannot deny the money in his account.
His PR people are actually making it into a bigger mess now by creating even more questions.
This money, many believe, is from no donor but from 1MDB itself but had round trip all over the world and finally "paid" into the PM's account.
As of now, the missing money from 1MDB (RM42 billion) is not accounted for!

The current shaky political situation is the real concern now in the business community.
Foreign investors are worried and global funds have pulled $3 billion from Malaysian equities in 2015
The latest Bloomberg Business this evening reported that "Malaysia’s foreign-exchange reserves dropped below $100 billion for the first time since 2010 after the ringgit slid 18 percent in the past 12 months"
Bad news indeed and sit tight, maybe more to come.
