My advice to gambler who chase for losses

money lost in gambling/investment are just being spent. Will you chase for the money that you spent on a tour ? Or big money that was spent on nice cars, and cars after 10 yrs being scraped.Likely not right ?
Some may say it cannot be compared to a tour where you can have fond memories. Well during the gambling process, memories are there too .
So please gamble within your limit, win is good, lose just walk away :smile:

i never gamble but i know there is a saying, do not be stubborn when you are gambling, lose just walk away.

i mean to say i have not entered a casino for 1 year plus already, when i was in melbourne, my aussie banker friends got me in Mahagony level at crown casino. each minimum bet is AUD$100. i have not entered s'pore casinos cos' i think they are ripping people off.

then you can just walk away fine after you have lost everything.

dumb gamblers borrow money to gamble!

especially those stocks market gamblers using margin calls!

Not just gambling.
When doing or dealing with things that carry risks of losing money.....
Discipline is most important.
And next always set targets. Failure as well as success targets.

Always remember Perseverance is not a virtue when it comes to gambling.
And the mantra of danny ocean....

Think like the casinos and bookies. Gambling is a business. That way, gamble sensibly. Never double your bets when you are down. Want to 'loot' do so on winning streak. Punters always bo lumpar when winning. But seepay brave no brakes when losing.

Yes, Gambling is business as in investing. Whether stocks, gold, etc.
All carry risks. You buy that car, house, - there is risk.
You marry that girl - there is risk.

You must have patience and discipline. This is the most important and critical factor.
And don't be greedy.

why mix gambling and investment?gambling is activities where u have no control over the outcome whatsoever.investment well theres no such thing as 100 percent in the world but theres a chance of influencing the outcome and u should not go into any investment without already knowing what the outcome will be or at least a rough idea.its all percentages and mathematical probabilities.

and iv been playing poker for years theres no such thing as good memories,victory is just a bloody battle and the big losses are scars u carry with u forever.the only good memory is if i win the wsop or aussie millions one time and win so much money i dont have to give a shit anymore.
