A pity indeed. Was hoping they contest more seats. WP is a premium brand. Wonderful if it was double.

This is a wise move by WP. U cannot be considered a credible party if you can't even make up your mind where you want to contest. Focusing your best candidates near your turf is also wise strategy. If that "political strategist" goh meng seng had concentrated his best nicole hazel tony at tampines in ge2011, the NSP result could have been very different.

If WP is not careful, they are spreading themselves too thin.

PAP is very smart to remove any "stumbling blocks" in this coming GE. ( No more Lui Tuck Yew & Yacob Ibrahim). They are playing a beautiful game of WeiQi. With goodwill coming from the SG50 and the "gift" from LKY , they are ahead of the game as WP is trying to patch up the loss of trust from the residents due to the APEHTC issue.

Voters are also smart. They will still vote with their stomach first. Freedom of speech comes secondary when you need to feed the baby. TPL will showcase her newborn as she delivers her rally speech - " It 's about your future and your children's future".
