Please don't use it as a rag. Colour may run and ruin whatever you're cleaning.

I have passed by a block of flat, whom the RC is in charge, I see buntings, flags on poles, in various degree of inclinations...not standing ERECT. & a banner from a ledge that says, MAJULLAH SINGAPURA & something in Chinese that says, " 加油“. SO you wonder , we are standing proud to the FLAG OF SINGAPORE, tall & ERECT!!?? or slanting one side as in a Party's flag? & a party anthem of "jia you"??? or are we, saying ' MAJULLAH SINGAPURA"....WHEN WE FIRST DID IN 1965?

SO, is this flag a FLAG OF SINGAPORE or a POLITICAL PARTY FLAG, CALLED PAP FLAG??...ask yourself this question!? SIMPLY THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR A COUNTRY FLAG! Would one, show disrespect to the flag of their COUNTRY?? even the terrorist of the world....have better respect for theirs...

Singapore's flag was adopted on December 3, 1959, when Singapore became independent from Great Britain. The flag has two equal-sized horizontal stripes, red on the top, white on the bottom. There is a white crescent moon and a circle of five five-pointed white stars in the red section (near the flagpole).
The white color on the flag stands for purity and virtue. The red color stands for brotherhood and the equality of man. The crescent moon represents for a young, growing nation; the five stars represent democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality. The proportions of the flag are 2:3 (height to width). The flag was designed and created by a group that was led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore at the time, Dr Toh Chin Chye
