Actually shopping in KL and Bangkok is cheaper
Same for sporting talent.
Not bad lah, shop owners can fold their business and relax. Sinkies cannot cls business and stop paying, now on every old Sinkie's mind tis medisave issue, dont pay how?
Also, a lot of the stuff people want to buy cannot be found offline, sometimes online shopping is done as a last resort.
How many more NTUC Fairprice, Toast Box outlets and telco shops do we need? There's no retail diversity in Sinkieland.
i would buy online more if shipping prices to singapoor wrern't so high, or non existent.
Even with shipping costs, sometimes online still cheaper.
Some even has loyalty points to play with.
Anyway, with enough "practice". They can be as good.
Look at Feng Tianwei, though not as talented and gifted but still manage to beat some top rank player sometimes. Only sometimes.
I feel that Orchard Road may have to rely on tourists more than local consumers.
Mostly cheap 3rd world tourist these days and white trash aussies come to Singapore.
