do you have problems working with muslims?

In a group dynamic Angmos and Ah Nehs you can easily work along. But once Muslims come into the discussion group all hell break loose. Have you experience something similar?

Why is it so difficult to work with Muslims?

Why they have no peace and joy in their hearts?

What about Jews?

The biggest problem is working with sinkies. They are a nightmare to manage regardless of race, language or religion.

i had a conversation with someone, a chinese lad recently, he just graduated from polytechnic and going to NS. he is a chinese sinkie and he is right that chinese are more cunning and full of ideas to benefit themselves whereas malay are not and easier to socialise with. but from the news, malays always involved in immoral activities, that is the difference.

I have no problems working with anyone, so long as they keep their personal stuff (religion included) out of the workplace. A couple of jokes, complains, cusses, idiotic or silly comments once in a while I can take it, but just do not preach their beliefs to me at the workplace.

I find Malays easier to work with. Easy-going, no wiles, more obliging. Straight as an arrow. The women tend to be harder working than the men. Generally honest with money though there are black sheep.

Chinese are more calculative (about pay and working hours), more shrewd and cunning, less willing to help out with overtime unless paid well. The women are prone to petty squabbles among themselves. Trustworthy with money unless gambler.

As for Indians, some are smiling tigers: nice in front of you but backstab you. Those from problematic families may also be likely to be dishonest with money (they don't have community/extended family support unlike the Malays).

I have no problem working with or working for a Muslim so long as they keep their religion in their home and don't bring it to work, and start demanding that you "respect" their stupid religious practice.

Serious malays don't mind the pay and working hours as much as chinese? That's really an eye opener.

Serious. Malays are not very calculative, more willing to give and take. Some guys can be lazy though, but the hardworking ones are all right.

Agree. Christian converts are a pain in the ass, not so much because of their work attitude, but because they're always looking to shove their scriptures down your throat. Plus their holier-than-thou judgmental attitude towards everybody.

I tend to agree with you except for Indian and Malay Ladies they loved to MC, 14 days MC they
will take 16 days when HR deduct their salary they jump why cut my pay! only after being told
you have exceed your 14 days MC!! My wife left the hotel industries!!

Because of the frequent MC at times she has to work 2 shifts due MC by these ladies!!

Her boss m&d lady also MC queen what do expect??

Ah but how do you know who is the lazy or the hard working one?

Ok maybe not calculative but i think on average well it's not that easy to find a hardworking malay.

I find the minahs harder working than the mats. The middle-aged ones who are mothers tend to be more responsible compared to the teenagers and those in their early 20s.

I think selection process during interviews is crucial in picking out the good ones.

Generally, Malays are easy to get along with. It's the Muslim in them that gives problems, esp. if they become more religious with age.
