Can anti-Christian "he molested me!" Amos Yee solve the crisis? Or will he accuse the Greeks of mentally molesting him?

Thats consumer debt isnt it whats that gotta do with national debt.did germans force them to buy bmws with national reserves or did the prime minister buy one too many audis with the istana credit cards.

if consumers buy big ticket items on credit or through bank loans, when consumers default banks lending the money also have debt collection problems on their hands. they will need to write off bad loans.

If Greece exit Euro will go up as the weak ones are dropped out,,,the euro keeps the kraut currency low so they can export more,,if Greece stays,,they have no hope of recovery as they cant export their way out,,and they are just paying the banks,,,

if greece exit, euro will drop. if greece stay on, eur will take longer time to drop. both ways, euro is declining.

Heard that all these rescue from imf ... are actually German Govt saving their own banks. So German Govt provide loan in the name of imf, ec or whatever to Greece to pay German Bank. It is a common practice so that their own banks will not collapse and they through the process, try to squeeze as much out from the debtor as possible. Once their own banks are stablished, Greece can default for all they care. Technically it is like printing lost notes to return to the banks by the govt.

post #17 explains it. germans have most to lose.

Bloody Krauts cant win the last WW and they now create this sort of shit to make life miserable for others,,,,

greeks have themselves to blame. just look at the fat, lazy, out of shape greeks waiting in line at the banks at the 11th hour. they could have easily withdrawn their savings (in euros) a couple of years ago while they were already in limbo. they live in luxury and imagine the world owes them their expensive lifestyles (see bags, shades and dogs that they possess).

btw, german cars are irresistible. :p

Has China committed huge loans to Greece through its private enterprise since the first crisis? If ECU let Greece default will China become the greatest loser? From yahoo news :

China wants Greece to stay in the euro and is ready to offer support on the debt crisis, Premier Li Keqiang said Monday, as Athens faces a referendum that could see it leave the single currency.

Li, the prime minister of the world's second largest economy, said after a summit with EU leaders that it was a "critical" moment in the standoff between Greece and its EU-IMF creditors.
"China wants to see Greece stay in the eurozone and we urge relevant creditors to reach agreement with the Greek government at an a early time," Li told a news conference. Speaking alongside EU President Donald Tusk and European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker, Li added that China wanted "progress... so both Greece and Europe overcome the current challenges and crisis."

Li did not directly answer whether Beijing was ready to offer Athens loans to help it see out the crisis, but added that China had "made its own efforts" to help Greece overcome its debt. "Several times China has taken real actions to respond to the concern and requests from the Greek government, because we hope that Greece would do well and hope to see a united European Union," he said.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has called a referendum on Sunday on whether Greece should accept reform plans under an international bailout.

EU ministers decided Saturday not to extend the bailout because of the lack of a deal, meaning Greece is set to default on a IMF loan repayment on Tuesday.

If that happen, it will be good for Euro currency, but I don't think the Eurozone union want that to happen politically.

See, I told you so. Greece will not want to be out of Eurozone. Greece leaders just want to play the dare game but loss eventually and have to accept the austerity conditions for the bailout.

Greece seals new bailout deal to avoid euro exit.

However, the best solution is for Greece to default the debts and exit Euro zone to restart it's economy.

I read that they could privatize their islands. Mostly freehold.

GIC or temasek should buy a few super big ones to expand our territories.
