He was told to shut up by KL UMNO politicians after he criticised Najib for not showing up at a public forum.

In response, he posted this on his blog...... in effect telling Najib's supporters to fuck off.....

He was trained at the Indian Army college and holds a rank of Captain in the Indian Army. A real soldier, not an Honorary rank.

One day he will be Sultan of Johore - Good luck to Pinky and his gang of heartless money-eyed syncophants if they are still around by then......

Tunku Ismail Idris ibni Sultan Ibrahim Ismail[4] (born 30 June 1984)[1] is the Tunku Mahkota of Johor (Crown Prince). He was born to a member of the Johor Royal Family (his paternal side of the family) and the Perak Royal Family (his maternal side of the family). Tunku Ismail is currently serving as an officer of the Indian Army.

Tunku Ismail is the eldest son of the current Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail ..........

Tunku Ismail completed his early education at Sekolah Sri Utama and Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan St. Joseph in Johor Bahru. He subsequently received secondary education at the Australian International School in Singapore and pursued his higher studies at Hale School in Perth, Western Australia, until 2002.[1][5] Tunku Ismail is the eldest among six siblings.

Career and interests

Following a family tradition of getting trained in armed forces, with his late grandfather in the Malaysian Army and father in the US Army, Tunku Ismail aspired for a career in the Indian armed forces.[7] In July 2003, he enrolled as a cadet officer in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), India’s premier military training school located at Dehradun.[1] He was commissioned as a lieutenant in December 2004 and absorbed into the Indian army. He was promoted to the rank of captain in December 2007.[8] He is the first ever Malaysian royal to join the Indian armed forces.

The Malaysian prince is the first foreigner to lead a unit of Indian Army in the Indian Republic Day Parade.[7][9][10] On 26 January 2007, with a rank of captain in Indian Army, he led a mounted column of Jaipur-based 61 Cavalry regiment to salute president of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam during the Republic Day celebrations.[9] The president himself chose Tunku Ismail to lead the unit of around 400 men of the world's only non-ceremonial horse-mounted cavalry.[8] The parade was witnessed by chief guest of the day president of Russia Vladimir Putin and his entourage, along with other dignitaries of Indian politics and military amidst tight security.[8][11] Tunku Ismail's father Tunku Ibrahim Ismail flew in from Johor Bahru on 23 January 2007 to be present at the celebrations while his son added a chapter to the history of Indian Army.[11]

A polo enthusiast, Tunku Ismail is a skilful horse rider. He was bestowed the Best in Riding award among IMA cadets for year 2003-2004. He is also a polo player for his regiment and has won many trophies.[1] In football, he is the president of Johor FC.[12]

The Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim appears to have responded to a cabinet minister's warning not to comment on politics with a wordless video in which he makes a hand gesture inviting a challenge.

Tunku Ismail, in a 17-second clip posted on the Facebook page of the Johor Southern Tigers, is seen making the hand movement, presumably in response to Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz's remarks this morning to stay out of politics or risk getting "whacked".

Nazri had ticked off the prince for an earlier posting on the same Facebook page last Friday, where the prince implied that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had shirked responsibility by not showing up at the "Nothing to Hide" dialogue on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

"How can you have a dialogue called Nothing2Hide featuring a person who has everything to hide? Obviously he won't show up.
"For those who have been entrusted with the responsibility, do not blame the people for losing confidence and trust in you, but think of why they no longer have the confidence and trust in you," Tunku Ismail had said in the post last week.

The prince is president of the Johor Southern Tigers football club.

Today, Nazri, who is also an Umno Supreme Council member, said rulers and members of the royal family were not above the law and should not comment on politics "otherwise he will be subject to the same rule and we will whack him".

The forum on 1MDB was organised by non-governmental group, SukaGuam, and would have seen Najib take questions on the Finance Ministry-owned debt-ridden fund.

But he did not turn up after police ordered the event cancelled on grounds of a security threat.

Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad attended the forum and took the stage to speak before being cut short by police. – June 13, 2015.

Why Indian army of all places????

The Indian Army is a professional army that still holds on to British Army standards and traditions.

It is grossly under rated because of the dubbing it received from China in 1962. But they are the best in the South Asian region.......

Indian troops chained themselves to their machine guns when they faced the Jap landings at Kota Bahru in 1941. This prevented them from retreating even if out of ammo. Malay villagers who later buried them thought their British Officers had chained the soldiers to their guns. But it was voluntary...... the ultimate sacrifice.

The SAF under similar circumstances would have had surrendered.......or ran away ( at least to "fight another day".... look at our Dalforce...)
