SINGAPORE: MediaCorp is mourning the loss of one its most beloved cameraman, Danny Tan. The 52-year-old principal cameraman died on Monday (Apr 27), after collapsing on the job.
Mr Tan devoted a lifetime to bringing compelling visuals to viewers. He joined the broadcaster in July 1983 as a cameraman, progressing through the ranks to Senior Cameraman in 2004 and Principal Cameraman in 2013.
During his nearly 32 years at MediaCorp, he won several awards for excellence in news coverage and impressed many with his enthusiasm and work ethic.
