He refused to remove certain parts of his book that establishment wanted him to remove. At least, he got the balls even though it upset some people. Like a leopard, he would still bear the pappies spots. He was a pappies when inside and would remain a pappies on the outside.

Erstwhile, to get into Parliament is to hitch a ride on the GRC seat but now, it is no longer a ticket to ride into Parliament smoothly. A boot out for any serving Minister is still likely in coming GE, LHL included.

agreed. never like him. did him a big favour many years ago and he did not even thanked me or send a note. at least LKY have a habit of sending a thank you note for anything little you do. this bugger is crap. after that incident i refused to do him and his grassroots crap any favour. very arrogant in fact it was his subordinate who called me up and thanked me profusedly the next day. usual arrogant chap typical of miw army generals who like to order people arounds and think they are still in the army.
