You can only change so much from within, especially if you're alone or have only a few colleagues in your faction. PAP's core DNA as passed down by old fart and the old guard will not change.

Ultimately Singapore will need a new govt with a totally different vision and guiding philosophy, or it will implode. Either the opposition steps up to the plate, or a breakaway faction from the PAP would be needed to displace the present totalitarian, self-serving, corrupt govt.

Agree. But what if the change leader becomes PM? That would be interesting! Will he change or be changed??

So, every Minister in the pappies Cabinet is tainted, including those past and present? Your brush is certainly so huge to paint them all as
rascals, which is just difficult to believe.

It is proven from events in the history of sinkie land that certain pappies Ministers and MPs were removed by LKY for personal indiscretion and that LKY would not tolerate nonsense from his Ministers and MPs. Would he deliberately keep tainted MPs and Ministers with him?

He is not really a rebel but one with the good sense to see that locals are extremely unhappy about the White Paper on Population.

He had said that the population should be kept manageable at about 3 million and not to look at expanding economic growth as the overall criteria to govern the island. A sensible guy but at that time, the old man was still alive and botak could only talk but no action.

He is good but his past conviction is just a small indiscretion, not a criminal act.

In my many tcss sessions with friends and ex-colleagues, I have always taken this position - if terrorists want to enter and sabotage,
sure to succeed. It is not a difficult task.
