5-yr-old Josiah Duncan asks mother to buy homeless man dinner and brings entire diner to tears when he says grace with him. Ava Faulk said her son wouldn't stop asking her questions when he spotted a disheveled man outside the restaurant in Prattville, Alabama.

When Faulk explained the man was homeless, little Josiah asked 'What does that mean?'

Faulk told Josiah that it meant he didn't have a home, to which her son responded, 'Where is his house? Where is his family? Where does he keep his groceries?'

But Josiah was most concerned that the stranger didn't have any food, and he asked his mother to buy the man a meal at the restaurant, but when the man sat down at the restaurant and 'nobody really waited on him', Josiah asked the man if he needed a menu, telling him 'you can't order without one', Faulk said.

When the man insisted he would be fine with a simple cheeseburger, Faulk made sure he knew he could have anything he wanted. The mother remembers that, when he asked if he could have bacon, she told him 'get as much bacon as you want'.

And before the man could dig in, Josiah said he wanted to 'say the blessing with him', singing loud enough for the other 11 customers in the restaurant to hear. Faulk said everyone, including the man, teared up.

It's a moment the mother said she will never forget.

'Watching my son touch the 11 people in that Waffle House tonight will be forever one of the greatest accomplishments as a parent I'll ever get to witness.'

the single most regrets for the angmoh today was the monopolized opium to drug China that almost extinct.

Get this boy to know the opium war and see how he will be ashamed of his forefathers evil doing.

Born and Bred to the Opium Pipe
Westerners had long held the vast, ancient kingdom of Cathay in awe, but by the end of the Opium Wars, Chinese were beneath contempt, mere creatures born and bred to the opium pipe. It is ever thus, for gross atrocities, whether in China or Auschwitz or South Africa or Nicaragua or the antebellum South, can be sustained only by dehumanizing our prey and by canonizing ourselves. Britain argued that not only did the Chinese want opium but that their physical constitution required it, and that the British opium monopolies throughout Asia were a humanitarian service for the Chinese.

As the dragon sank into opium dreams, Shaftbury’s prophecy was fulfilled: easy money killed honest money. In 1877, Mr. Samuel S. Mander wrote that of China’s £12 million in imports from India, the 85,000 chests of opium counted for £10.5 million, leaving £1.5 million for legitimate trade.” Legitimate merchants suffered as China’s moral and economic foundation foundered, and private bankers in London warned, “The purchasing power of China seems paralyzed by the opium trade.” Sir Arthur Cotton, a well known authority on India, argued in a letter to the Anti-Opium Society (May 6, 1882), “…there is not a shadow of excuse for our continuing this trade…” He affirmed,

“the astonishing fact that we are perfectly independent of the opium revenue, having a clear surplus of £3.5 million without it, and that revenue increasing at the rate of £500,000 a year!”

Opium apologists argued that Indian farmers needed opium profits, but Sir Cotton proved that the farmer could make 4 times as much profit from an acre of sugar as he could from an acre of poppies. But like Chinese opium addicts, Britain’s Indian poppy farmers were expendable. And expended they were.

Britain’s mandatory substitution of poppies for traditional food crops ended with Indian mothers feeding their emaciated children opium to ease the gnawing hunger that plagued them from their beleaguered birth to their premature death.

In 1838, 800,000 Indians died in the Agra famine. Over 500,000 starved in 1860 in the Northwest, and in 1865-7, one million perished in the Orissa Famine – 1/3 of that area’s population. In 1868-70, 1/3 of the Rajputana population perished of hunger.

Embarrassed by the public outcry in Europe, Britain adopted a simple famine relief program. Only 28 died in the Bihar Famine of 1873-4, but at one dollar per life, Britain abandoned the program as too costly. Two years later, India’s British masters idly watched the South India Famine destroy 5.25 million people in British territory alone. Another 750,000 starved in the 1896-7 famine, and in 1899, 2.5 million perished. But the poppy prospered.

Re: AngMohs Truly The Best

When Bonner Paddock was a child, doctors said he would be confined to a wheelchair by age 15 and dead by 20. Paddock, now 40, is a two-time world-record holder, the first person with cerebral palsy to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro unassisted. He’s also the first person with CP to finish the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, widely considered one of the most difficult triathlons in the world.

From the time Paddock was a child, there was something noticeably wrong with the way he moved, dragging his left leg when he walked, unable to keep his balance. Paddock says his mother kept the severity of his condition from him completely but finally, at age 11, Paddock was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

It was something Paddock would try to keep a secret, determined not to let his disabilities limit him. Finally, at age 29, Paddock decided to tell his boss.

“He was so nonchalant about it. He just said, ‘OK, well, do you need anything?’” Paddock laughs.

While working with the Anaheim Ducks ice hockey team, Paddock joined the board of United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County. He befriended Steven Robert, whose 4-year-old son, Jake, was born with CP. They began training for the Orange County Marathon to raise funds for UCP’s Life Without Limits center, where young CP patients could get physical therapy.

“Steven would ask me how he could understand his very disabled son, who couldn’t walk or talk,” remembers Paddock of the 2006 race. “He was searching for ways to connect with Jake. I watched Steven carry Jake across the finish line of the marathon. Jake died later that night.”

Jake’s death “lit a fire” within Paddock, who decided he would do whatever it took to help young children like Jake — even summiting Kilimanjaro, unassisted, in 2008. He set out to raise $250,000 to provide therapy needed for young children with CP.

Jake’s legacy continued when Paddock decided to become the first person with cerebral palsy to compete in the 140-mile Ironman World Championship in Kona, unassisted, in 2012, through which he raised more than $700,000.

Despite being called a girl and other taunts from even adults, Christian McPhilamy from Florida began growing his hair out after watching a commercial for St Jude Children's Research Hospital when he was 6 years old.

2 years later, the second grader at Ocean Breeze Elementary School chopped it all off and donated it to Children With Hair Loss. The charity provides free hair pieces to children who have medically-related hair loss including cancer patients and burn victims.

McPhilamy's mother, Deeanna Thomas, wrote on Facebook :

'He chose to help. After 2 years of growing his hair, Christian reached his goal of donating over 10 inches in 4 ponytails to the "Children with hair loss" foundation. He has endured a lot of criticism, and even bullying, throughout this time. From his peers calling him a girl to even coaches and family friends telling him he should cut it. But he has never strayed from his goal.'

McPhilamy's latest good deed comes in a long line of others which include routinely donating toys and clothes with his 3-year-old sister, Avalynn Norris, to leaving popcorn and a dollar at Redbox movie kiosks as a way to brighten someone's day

In Singapore, many of the so-called poor and homeless are actually quite well-off. They are just pretending to be poor and are making a good living from begging and selling tissue paper. I hope NEA swiftly arrests these 'homeless' jerkoffs soon.

# 9-year-old Hailey Fort builds houses for the homeless - using all the power tools herself !(bet most Sinkie males can't do that)

# Hailey also has a garden where she grows food for the homeless

When Hailey Fort was 5-yrs-old, it broke her heart to see a homeless man on the street. After asking her parents how she could help him, she's been assisting the homeless by providing food and housing ever since. At 6-years-old, Hailey started a garden for the homeless in her community.

Hailey of King Fort, Washington is building a mobile shelter for her homeless friend Edward and others like him. She plans to build 12 this year. Edward recently lost his job working at the local supermarket and Hailey made it her goal to make sure he could sleep someplace warm and dry.

'I don't really want him to be rained on by all the bad weather we get here,' said Hailey.

'He's really nice,' she added. 'He's easy to talk with.'

Hailey is skilled at using power tools like nail guns, hydraulic staplers and electric drills. (bet most Sinkie males can't do that). She builds the homes almost entirely by herself under the supervision of her mother.

She'll ask for help from an adult if she's using something more dangerous like a power saw.

Hailey's grandfather is a contractor and sometimes she'll call him to ask him his advice about building. Her homes are well insulated so that they can keep the homeless warm.

According to the Facebook page for Hailey's Harvest, her goal for the 2015 season is to grow 250 pounds of food in addition to handing out 1,000 toiletries, 500 feminine hygiene products, 100 coats, and as many sleeping shelters as she can find space for.

She also is donating 10 P.O Boxes that will be paid for one year so that homeless people can have their mail sent there while they are applying for jobs and getting back on their feet.

The homeless, her mom said, are people she counts as her friends. It's that friendship that keeps her going. "Hailey is repeatedly told that she can stop at any time but she continues because this is her passion. I think a lot has to do with setting such high goals and then the rush she gets when she meets them."

''It’s been four years and she still delivers veggies to the homeless every week,” said her mom.

Those who wish to give to Hailey and her cause may do so on her Go Fund me.

The cost to build one shelter is about $300, the reason the price is so low is because she gets many items donated. The walls are made of pallets, which are stuffed with recycled denim insulation. The structure has a shingled roof, drywall, wood siding, and vinyl flooring. The house will have window curtains, a solar-powered lamp and most importantly, a lock on the front door.

16-year-old drowned trying to save his younger brother from drowning

When S. Alexander Smith's 13-year old brother slipped into a river in Dorena, Oregon, Smith, immediately jumped in and tried to save him. The two headed swiftly downstream towards a waterfall. Smith grabbed his brother, Christian, but the current was too strong and dragged them both over the falls. Christian surfaced in a pool and managed to crawl to safety, but his brother Alexander became lodged under a log and drowned.

A 7-months pregnant woman who saved a man from drowning

Meghan O’Reilly-Green, 31, was walking along the shore in Hatteras, North Carolina, when she heard two men shouting for help. The current had dragged them off. Despite bursting with baby, O’Reilly-Green grabbed a boogie board and paddled out to the men.

She gave one of the men the board, but it was pulled out by the surf. She then attempted to drag him to shore, but he panicked and pulled her under the water. She managed to free herself and swam to a rescuer. She took a boogie board from that rescuer and returned to the drowning man and push him to a sandbar.

The man who pulled a stranger from a burning car just before it exploded

Martin V. Hohenstein came upon a woman trapped in her SUV after an accident on the highway in Dakota City, Nebraska. Fermin Urenda's car had burst into flames. Hohenstein, 51, was driving by when he saw the scene and tried to help. He saw that the woman's legs were trapped under the dashboard.

He also couldn't open the driver's side door, which was jammed shut. Hohenstein made several attempts to open the vehicle despite intense heat and flame. He was finally able to pull Urdena free after multiple attempts just as the car was destroyed by fire.

The delivery guy who dragged a man from a home that had exploded

Danny J. Carroll was sitting in the second floor of his Hamilton, Ohio home when the building exploded from a natural gas leak. The roof was partially blown off and Carroll was pinned to the floor by debris from the chimney.

A neighbor, Campbell, 21, who is a delivery truck driver, was driving by when he saw the explosion. He tried to enter the house but was pushed back by thick smoke. Campbell was able to enter the home and ran to the second story, where he extracted Carroll from the debris and barely got him out of the house before the roof collapsed entirely.

The 13-year-old boy who saved a 6-year-old girl from her burning mobile home

Hattie Fowler, 6, was in the bedroom of her family's Jacksonville, Florida mobile home when fire broke out in that room. She stood near her window and screamed for help, grabbing the attention of Robert A. Pritchard, Jr., 13, who was passing by. Despite the flames and smoke, Pritchard entered the home and grabbed the girl and was able to run out just as the home became engulfed in flames.

Four members of Fowler's family died in the fire.

TYLER, Texas –

By the age of 6, Danica Wetmore had only ever lived inside a Ukrainian orphanage. Thom and Tami Wetmore were the only ones who ever visited her.

"It's just, you felt it in your heart. We knew, as soon as I saw her. I knew, in my spirit, 'Go get your daughter,'" Tami Wetmore said. "That's exactly what I felt is, 'Go get your daughter.'"

Danica was born with Treacher-Collins syndrome, resulting in deafness and bones missing from her face. The Wetmores were told she'd be turned out of the orphanage when she got older to live on the streets.

"She had been in an orphanage for over 6 years and no one had visited her," Tami said. "Nobody had ever inquired about her."

"We were the first and only ones," Thom added.

And the Wetmores' love didn't stop with Danica. After her, they adopted three siblings who desperately needed a home.

"Danica's quirky. Extremely inquisitive. Very artistic," Thom Wetmore said. "[She] Loves drawing, painting, expressing herself."

The Wetmores have a daughter, Juliana. She was born into the family 6 years before Danica showed up. She, too, has Treacher-Collins syndrome, but a much more severe case. Along with deafness, she was born without 40% of the bones in her face.

"You forget that there's anything different about her after she's sitting there for 5 minutes," Thom said.

Juliana has endured 45 surgeries for her face, but her body and her brain have always been perfectly healthy. Her spirit is always bright.

"She loves everybody. She doesn't judge anybody. She doesn't see anybody as different," Thom said. "She just takes everybody as the same."
