Refugees are parasites. They are not the same as foreign talent, who bring in skills, good attitude and money to invest and spend in our local economy.

The europeans aren't better off letting in hordes of Africans, Arabs and Gypsies into the EU. Neither are the Americans better off with millions of illegal Hispanics flooding their country. Often, the host country has to spend millions of dollars to accomodate these illegals and to police them. Who is going to foot the bill for all the expenses and social costs?

Refugees are the lowest of the lowest type of immigrants. They have no money and are often poorly educated. Even a foreign talent graduate from a degree mill is many more times valuable. These talents, once settled in Singapore and their certs recognized, will vote responsibly for a pro-Singapore political party at the polls.

Well said! I just upped your points. If the EU had done that long time ago, they wouldn't be having so much problems with hundreds of thousands of boat people flooding their shores every year. Same for the US.

U must look at where these refugees come from,singapore is a satellite parasitic economy.parasitic economies depends on much larger massive economies and trade agreements and black money to thrive and are unable to sustain themselves.it is estimated 30% of our gdp is reliant on trade with malaysia,a country supposedly poorer than us.if the refugees come from indonesia,singapore would welcome them with open arms.
