Post date:
28 Apr 2015 - 9:46am

We are presenting our speakers on labour day protest - come and support Singaporeans speaking up for fellow Singaporeans. We start at 4pm till late...
1. Dr Ang Yong Guan - Chairman of SIngaporean First Party
2. Kenneth Jeyeratnam - Sec Gen of Reform Party
3. William Lim - Exco member of Singapore Democratic Alliance
4. Fatimah Akhtar - architect and activist
5. Frankie Low - businessman and politician
6. Daryl Sim - NUS undergraduate
7. Mary Goh - retired school teacher
8. Eugene Wong - IT specialist turned F & B worker
9. Leong Sze Hian - financial wizard and activist

Issues to be aired include the current fake degree saga, unlevelled playing field in the employment sector, lack of a real union to arbitrate for locals, high cost of living, minimum wages, lack of protection for local PMETs among others.
Eugene Wong will also be remembering a jobless accountant friend who took his own life after encountering much difficulty looking for another job. The speaker is also a 48-year-old IT professional who is now working in the F & B sector earning $800/month as there is no other choice.
Bring along your personal poster to express the issue that irks you most.
If you have a burning story to share, please let us know - we still have a slot for one more.

Grassroots people expect the turnout to be poor. I don't see any representatives from the Wankers' Party. Aren't they supposed to represent the workers, given the name of their party?
