Can anyone recommend how to download full movie from Youtube?

Dailymotion not much choice, mostly all short clips.

I always see ppl watch movie from mobile phone and i wonder how it's done.

Me uncle not IT savvy.

Need to download about 2 movies to prepare for 4 hours flight next month.

Many internet online, but uncle very scare to download the .exe as i scare got virus.
(kena so many time bo bian reformat PC many times..)

Hope to have one without the need to download but convert online.

Possible?

I like to use Firefoc because they have am Add-On known as Video Downloadhelper, its very easy to install and use.

After I download any youtube video with this Video Doenloadhelper I then transfer to my iPad or iPhone using iTunes.

It doesn't work for some unsupported sites (e.g. porn) so in those cases you have to use the following alternative methods:

1) Firefox browser with Downloadhelper plugin installed

2) View the html source of the web page where the video is playing. Look for the filename that ends with '.mp4'.

3) Let the video fully load and copy from the cache e.g. Internet Explorer cache or ChromeCacheView


Sometimes the video is streamed e.g. news sites, and nothing is saved to the disk cache on your computer, so you cannot download it with the above methods. You may need to install some stream recording program to download it.

Been downloading songs from youtube and converting them even speeding up the songs etc to mp3 with 320kbps quality. Even mono sounding videos i can convert into stereo mp3.

sometimes the video on yt might not be able to be played on the phone especially iphone.

My downloader enables me to d/l in phone 3gp or in mp4 quality up till 1080p if the video has it.

Use video downloader app straight in ipad/phone, no need transfer here and there

Yup. Best method.

Good things never lasts forever as music and movie companies are constantly filing complaints to YT over copyright infringements.

download movies in mp4 format from internet to pc and transfer them over to the android phone. the default video player always play mp4. mxplayer play almost any video formats.

Best method my ass. :rolleyes: With a download manager you don't even need to wait for the entire video to load and download managers download the video from mulitple points of the the video and then recombine it back into the video/file in short they speed up the download that a video streaming in youtube can never match.
