Disgruntled Sinkie Claims Meritocracy In Singapore Is Dead!

The recent IDA’s saga over their blind defence of their employee, even when she was apparently caught for purchasing a MBA degree from one of the notorious degree mills, is a wake-up call for all Singaporeans.

The way IDA responded was largely disappointing to say the least. In fact, it would not be too absurd to suggest that our late Mr Lee Kuan Yew would had already turned in his grave over this saga.

As known to all Singaporeans, the foundation on which Singapore was built by the Founding Fathers was based on two core values – Integrity and Meritocracy.

When job cheats cheated in their resumes with fake degrees bought from degree mills, they have no integrity at all. And when their fake degrees help to secure employment at others’ expense, meritocracy is dead.

What’s the point of studying hard at NUS/NTU/SMU etc over 3-4 years when you can purchase a fake degree for a few hundreds, without putting a sweat to study and stat boards like IDA wholeheartedly welcome you?

What’s meritocracy when your qualifications are brushed aside by “Foreign Talents” who can settle for lesser salaries, since they do not invest as much money and time as you with their fake degrees?

Mr Lee has barely passed on for a month, and his legacy is now already tarnished …

A question to IDA, is this your way of remembering LKY?

And what makes one think that this is the only shit skin with fake degree in Pappy organisations?

Hell, if all the truth comes out, not only are shit skins of plenty with fake degrees or qualifications in every organisation, you even have PRCs and your ' Ang Mo is the da best' kind in this as well! LoL

Read what an Indian newspaper " The Hindu " (started in 1878 with present circulation of 15,58,379 ) has to say

When these bogus foreign graduates are able to use their fake degrees to get jobs in IDA, and possibly other Govt departments in sinkieland, the rot is widespread.

It is a very serious matter and LHL cannot pretend it is a kacang puteh case. The security of the country is compromised when fakers are employed in sensitive departments. It shows the inefficiency of the current adminsitration; they are easily conned by fraudsters.

They are real degrees, but are issued by unaccredited or lowly ranked universities.

Point 2: The candidate did not lie about his or her qualifications

The candidate really does possess the said degrees. Whether the college is a degree mill, that's for you to find out.

Point 3: The candidate can maintain a satisfactory job performance.

The candidates being blasted by netizens have been working PMETs for many years. Prior to being flamed online, they have been producing satisfactory work, to the extend that IDA is willing to endure harassment by netizens and defend their employees.

Sinkies on the other hand, are merely good for taking exams. They have have gotten good passes from highly ranked universities, but they lack the ability to do the job properly in the working world. Little wonder why employers would rather hire graduates of degree mills than the average graduate from our local NUS, NTU, SIM, SMU, STU or polytechnics.

After my son completes his NS, I am making sure he studies abroad in an Ivy-league college. Same for my daughter. This current hot topic about degree mills had shown to us all that our graduates from top local universities cannot hold their own against graduates from degree mills like Southern Pacific university.

You could start a unversity too and issue degrees. They are not fakes, just useless.

Even if she is experienced, that she acquire a paper mill degree speaks volume of her character. For a civil service that values integrity, hiring her shows that we only pay lip service.

Sinkies on the other hand, are merely good for taking exams. They have have gotten good passes from highly ranked universities, but they lack the ability to do the job properly in the working world. Little wonder why employers would rather hire graduates of degree mills than the average graduate from our local NUS, NTU, SIM, SMU, STU or polytechnics.

If she was that capable, she would have risen through the ranks in the private sector. She didn't. So, she decided to acquire a punsaichua to help her. And the gullible IDA took her bait. She couldn't make it in the private sector and ran to work for the government.

The scary thing is that the IDA discovery is but a tiny speck of an iceberg. God knows how many hundreds of thousands of SGs with solid qualifications have been replaced by foreigners with fake degrees. Like what one netizen said, from "Jobs for Foreigners, Jobs for SGs", it has become "High paying jobs for foreigners with fake degrees, cab driving jobs for SGs with real degrees". If this is not high treason, what is? The FAP has to be voted out and taken to task in the next GE for selling out SGs to such an extent.
