Bukit Indah or Danga Bay

Hi Bro & Sis,

Had browse thru many post here,
What a great forum for exploring in Malaysia property,
Thanks for the bros & sis contributions :p

I'm presently looking for a property for own stay, possible for retirement too.

Was now looking at Bukit Indah and Danga area.
But too not well verse in this 2 areas.

Understand that Bukit Indah is more livable than Danga area.
With many amenties surrounding it.
But is the security good in Bukit indah ?

How long does it takes to drive up from 1st link to Bukit Indah ?

Any bros sis here know there are any new condo development coming up in BI ?

Was looking are some re-sales units too, Is it worth taking a look?
Some resales are near to good amenties..

The only advantages of resales unit is that the condo are ready for stay.
You will get what you see..
You can see what type of neigbour you have right now too..

Danga got sea view, But not too sure will it be developed till livable or not.. Hmm,
Only good thing, It is really near to spore....

Any bro or sis staying in BI ?

Hi lailailai,

Welcome to the forum.

For your own stay or retirement,I guess it's ok to buy,you will be
spoil for choice at this current market.Do ask for discount.

I've got a place at skyloft Bukit Indah, with 3 shopping (Aeon,tesco,gaint)
mall just a stone throw away,there are lots of eateries nearby too.

Driving from Tuas to BI seems easier ,however I was told the distant
from woodland is the same.

For Danga area are you referring to country garden,greenland etc?Seems
like you prefer condo then landed?

Are you a malaysian?if not for resale you can only buy 1million and above,
while for the new project,some project are exempted for instance RF Princess.
(mayb some experience bro here can advice)

Not going to say that BI is more livable than Danga area,who knows
10 years down the road,that place will be buzzling with activities.

btw for country garden,this sat is the grand car draw for a
bmw 3 series.One lucky winner will walk away with it.
My wife frend bought a unit there,have got alot of freebies,
like yatch ride,free karaok,free legoland hotel stay etc.
Even the agent brought chinese restrurant lunch for
the whole family upon signing the SNP .
China developer power.....,When I bought from setia
got nothing of the above sob sob.

Resales need @ least 1 million.. Hmm,
Dont intend to spend soooo much..:o

Not too sure whether BI have any new development that is exempted from the new rules..

Guess, I might make a trip to BI,
Cc look look.

Heard from my friends,
Many available units @ BI for sales.

Even Danga too, Some having discount packages.
But heard majority of the buyers are from China mainland.
And mainly are buying for holiday home or as investment.

It's highly possible Danga might turn into a ghost town. Hmm,
Any bros here feel that Danga might turn out to be livable ? :confused:

There is this famous Chinese saying “羊毛出在羊身上” , what you benefitted actually came from yourself.
Just think of the amount your wife's friend paid for his apartment compared to yours, did they really got themselves a great deal including all those freebies thrown in?
It also shows how desperate developers are right now with discounts, freebies and lucky draws flying all over.
Later, they may even offer free air tickets to China, on Malaysian Airline!

all the mega project there.
In an event if lailailai really wanted a unit there,do ask for freebies,who
knows,mayb got ticket to china hahaha....

Maybank only now then raise concern about "huge incoming supply" when months ago I have already warn people here about the same issue in JB, and I don't have Maybank's big team of economists and finance managers to advise me.

If the market did not managed properly, It looks like it will dive soon.

Looking at the Forest city big development. It really sound..... :eek:

Will take a look @ Bukit Indah.
Not too sure are there any new development for condo where the 1million cap is exempted..Like those in Danga.. Hmm.

2day, Spore Media Channel 8 and U channel all report about the over supply issue of Iskandar..

Have we ever noticed that the news and media only mentioned the oversupply of high rises, no mention of landed? So it seems the issue doesn't really affect the landed I could sense.

BI is a mature town. If you plan to buy a condo, my advise is go for the Danga area. Danga area is booming and the view and environment are definitely better than BI.

Try not to touch non-landed pty for now or even if is after 1 Aug. Is way too oversupply.
China developers just trying to sell you a very nice but is a sinking boat.
Go straight for landed pty instead.

BI have the edges compare to Danga ?

However, will sit on the side line to see how this whole over supply episode unveal.. :biggrin:

Not surprise there might be a housing policy "U-turn".
Foreigner allow to buy min 500k.. :biggrin:

That might really help the market.. possible helping sultan himself... :biggrin:

Cant imagine the up-coming forest city.. real possible a ghost town..
