if LKY didn't build this country, how is he, his relatives and cronies going to fully profit from the resources of the land ? to give some credits to LKY. he was the smarter kind of dictators whom made improvements to the country in order to fully maximize his profits. the other kind of lacking in foresight dictators just profited from the country without bothering to make any improvements, and the conditions of the country rapidly deteriorated and their profits suffered too as a result.
