Why no news on the dignitaries attending Old Fart's funeral?

You would think that given Old Fart's reputation, we should be hearing about the world's who who in the funeral guest list.

No news.

PAP begging them to come ...offering to fly them in on special SQ flights and first class accommodation. Let's see who will take up the offer.

he only spent 3 hours here. what is the damn rush... LHL could be a good host and at least invited him to stay in our country overnight, and the next morning, he could go for his usual run, and then his favorite bak kut teh, and maybe even play for a short while at the casinos before returning to Taiwan. this way, President Ma will have photos and stories for the Taiwanese media. got photos, so there are talks and news. mission accomplished. :o :biggrin:
