Victor Lye - PAP's "Chee Soon Juan"

Victor Lye is working overtime and bending backwards to try and get himself to be placed in the MP slate.
He is just trying to demonstrate to his bosses that at the drop of a hat, he can make things happen.

Unfortunately he is in the MP slate. You will not be made PAP chairman if you aren't fielded because that post gives you power and command over other PAP activists.

However he can still be dropped. Though unlikely, I think PAP should because his kind of politics is not epoused by PAP as seen in those days when they criticized Chee and JBJ for "confrontational politics".

PAP has put many sacrificial lambs in opposition wards. Sitoh, Eric Low, Desmond Choo, Andy Gan. None of them has ever acted and behaved like Victor Lye.

FAP obviously scrapping the bottom to fill their ranks, just like ISIL. soon you may be getting a blanga in the name of minority placement.

SDP should also do the same. Chee had been giving examples of why he's not confrontational, and he's been put on defensive and a sitting duck. In the next election he won't face Victor Lye, but he might face another confrontational MP, Vikram Nair.

It doesn't matter the style or what was said so long it convincing.

The best way to neutralize pap attack is to stick with facts and avoid getting entangled too much with this issue during GE cause it will only play to pap's hand by letting them dictate the GE agenda and divert attention away from other issues that play yo opposition advantage.

If WP can convince voters that pap is trying to politicize the matter, then pap will stand to lose more. Not only because they can't convince the middle ground, but lose more ground on other issues as they focus their attack on ahpetc issue.
