it simply means simple things turned complicated and selling at an obscene price.
the rich love it. they splurge it.
the poor envy it. they spit at it!
with all the fali-falok chapalang (exaggerated whatever), what are the rich paying for? for the sight or for their tummy? they would unabashfully say: this is CLASS. this is elitist....so get away from our elite face!
singapore has gradually also becoming FALI-FALOK. just look at our CPF. they FLF it until everyone is blur and seeing stars.
in one simple phrase: ARE WE GETTING OUR SAVING BACK OR NOT?
next rant: DON'T TELL ME SO MUCH! JUST GIVE ME BACK MY $$$!
