Confuscius.

If he follows Confucius teaching he will not institute his son as PM of Singapore?

Procedurally, LKY did not install his son as PM. His son was chosen by PAP's Executive Committee to be the PM.

He can either pass the banner to others to do it or reject others proposal. Nepotism is something he cannot take it lightly.

You can find 'being respectful of the elderly' in various traditions and religions, even the free thinkers acknowledge it.

It is the political system promoted by Confucius that is pernicious to democracy.

There is no democracy in the Western world when they too have kings and kingdom regime.

Democracy is only recent hoohaa make believe by the evil West.

What West, 8 countries against China, is hope to use democracy to blind and hide their past evil against 1/3 of the world in the 1600s to 1800s period.
