With all due sympathy to bipolar sufferers, they should receive all the help and medicine they need, but they shouldn't be practicing law or angling to enter politics.

Bipolar people have a lot of mental issues. I personally have friends who are bipolar. Some of them are very smart and did very well school, but failed to graduate well at university due to their mental issues getting the better of them. Those who finally graduated from university had problems dealing with stress in the workplace and eventually quit. They are now underemployed, freelancing or working as private tutors. They also have difficulty in getting life partners, and those who do need very patient partners who are able to deal with their bipolar crankiness.

There is something wrong with being bipolar. That's the hard truth about being a bipolar.
