If I were some PAP grassroots person, I would have put up a more tactful banner instead of using the words 'Get Well Soon'... it reeks of desperation.

I would put up a banner which says 'Wish you were here'.

The point is that when our Ah Gong is sick, there are thousands of grassroots leaders who would wish him well. When your CSJ is sick, nobody will give a shit about him.
