Just enough for local traffic and leisure craft to use.
It will bolster marina construction and leisure craft activities on both sides of the johore straits.
If the causeway is retained as it is, there is no point having the straits of johore and I suggest we reclaim the whole straits like what the sultan of johore currently doing for more productive purposes as the waterway is unusable.

No use for new bridge or whatever shit, the MY customs is very badly designed and most counters are not opened during peak hours, causing bottle neck for sure.

If diminishing of Singapore port status is a concern, just built the bridge not tall enough so that ocean going ship will not be able to pass through.

the blocking of the straits by a causeway has way overstayed its invitation. it's not only an ecological disaster, it's an ugly constipated eye sore for such a modern, gleaming and beautiful city as sg. :rolleyes:

this is has nothing to do with the custom issue. its just that water sports and leisure craft sailing can boom of the waterways are open. The water channel is safe as its protected from storms and should be ideal for novice.

u know PAPees are egotists and showoffs....they will never build anything that cost less than a billion dollars and is at least 100 feet above sea level tall enough for a boeing 767 to fly through and giagantic suspension pillars and boosted by scenic garden by the bay trees and singapore flyer.
