this shows 95% of the so called apple fans are nothing but bandwagoners and hello kitty collecting mtv hits listening herd culturists .....back in 2000 when i was a kid apple was nothing more than some faggy computer company selling some hippy 80s coloured unicorn shit....barely anyone mentioned it or thought of it.

That was the iPod era. Everybody wanted one.

in the distant future, apple makes an iChip for people to plant in their brains and do their online stuff simply by thinking about it.

I had no problem at all, ordered 2 units as gift for my staff last Monday afternoon and delivered Friday morning.

.....

In the past few months I would often visit the malls & I usually pass a Singtel, Starhub & M1 outlet since they are side by side. They have a big sign indicating iPhone availability & I noticed that the iPhones are usually out of stock. When they are available, it is usually only the 16GB iPhones available.

The situation may have improved this year because I think Apple has been able to ramp up productions.

It's not the screen size, it's the bezel. A 5.5 inch phone with thin bezels is still quite pocket-friendly.

I want one that is this size :

iPhone users are just latching on to what Android users have been saying all along: big is better. Android phones 3 years ago were already sporting 4.7" to 5" screens and phablets 5.5" to 5.7" screens, while iPhones were stuck at 3.5" and 4.5".

It's actually to Apple's credit that they managed to hang on to so many loyal customers while shortchanging them on screen size and specs these past years.

I think the bigger phones are more popular in Asia because these smartphones are used as their sole personal computer. While in the west people own both a PC & a smartphone, so they don't want to carry such a large phone.

No. The westerners prefer pocket friendly phones: they like to slip their phone into a jeans pocket.
