The road to hell is paved with stupidity!! They don't even have simple knowledge!! I can't stop laughing at those religious nuts!!
These idiots are just fucking with themselves. They are releasing these crabs only because they want to feel good about themselves thinking that they did something good which what they did is just killing those crabs all the same.
Elsewhere, fishermen are catching them on a daily basis. And crabs are displayed in fish tanks at seafood stalls at kopitiams and hawker centres waiting to be eaten. 
You need to go here for that kind of release.
P.S: Who is the minister for water resources?
You don't get the whole idea behind ... after the crabs die then they proclaim " Alamak! Crabs die liao, better bring home and cook. Can eat Don't waste"
You cannot eat crabs that have been dead for too long....
Crabs have to be cook immediately after they die....that's why they are always kill just before being cooked
