A man has been arrested following a shooting incident in Karangahape Rd last night.

Police said they received reports of people fighting and shots being fired in a side street of Karangahape Rd about 8.45pm yesterday.

One man reportedly then fled with a gun, and a short pursuit followed, police said.

A police patrol responding to the incident spotted the car leaving the scene and tried to stop it.

The fleeing vehicle then rammed the police vehicle, and was chased onto the northbound lanes of the Harbour Bridge.

At the top of the bridge the vehicle crashed and the man tried to escape on foot, however he was soon caught and arrested by police. Police said the Harbour Bridge was closed for about 20 minutes while police checked area, as they initially believed more than one person may have been involved.

Police established that only one alleged offender was involved, and the bridge reopened at 9.15pm.

Police said when the crashed car was searched, a revolver was found on the front seat.

Police said no-one was injured.

PAP threatened and intimidated own voters and citizens and I rather be in NZ then in Singapore. You don't be ruled and run by bullies and so as you don't elect a bully political party to run the government. Enough.

Before Race Course Road Riots many idiots said the same shit about PAP when other cities gets riots.

When it happens you found out how weak and useless are the PAP police in preventing riots, and the myth is solved.

It will happen here in SG when they shoot as well and it's just a matter of time. You will see PAP mata die and fled the shootings worse than Little India. And Sam Leong would have nothing to say any more.

In NZ, even the Sheep have rights. In SG, no such thing as rights

If that was the case, Singapore would long ago be another failed African or Latin American state. Instead, we are one of the most advanced nations of the world today. People flock to Singapore for job opportunities even though we do not have oil or mineral resources.

So, it is clear that you are talking through your hat, just like most anti-pap people do.
