Why is Zaqy Mohamad in PAP CEC?

This clearly shows how blur those leaders in PAP are.

Zaqy is one of the most disliked person within PAP even its own members stay away from him.

He is said to be competitive and will win at all cost with little regard for others.

He will never be wrong and if something goes wrong, its not his fault.

He is the perfect candidate to take over Yaacob as Minister for Muslims Affairs.

Seem like there are more Malay within CEC than Indian with Malay Mp occupying half the slots of those who were co-opted. Likely a deliberate attempt by PAP to shore up Malay voters support. Bear in Mind WP targeted GRCs in the East all consist of Malay candidates.

We need a mudboy in the CEC so that people can't say Singapore is ruled by the Chinese. We are not a racist party like UMNO.

He's a 'babyface' and the PAP needs these few Malay faces to publicly demonstrate that it is a champion of the 'racial and religious harmony' and 'meritocracy'. These Malay minnows are nothing more than supporting cast for the grand script. :wink:

The Malay community , especially the professionals, detest these guys. They are the last to stand up for the Malays in Singapore ( or so it is claimed). I believe they would have it believed they lobby quietly. maybe they do
