Yes they do because compared to other 1st world countries, Singapore's goof ups are few and far between.

The government has more control of the country,this small place, than any other first world state can boast. They have no excuse. I believe their biggest goofs are yet to be revealed.

Our mini-stars all feel that they are underpaid. Time for a pay raise. Why do you think my friends join RC? So that they can angkat with these mini-stars for better chances of winning gahmen contracts, or maybe even becoming a ministar themselves one day.

There is no hurry. Cut them some slack and they'll surely hang themselves with the rope.

Review or not, the opinion of the majority of Singaporeans is that many of them are not worth the money.
How many could run a business unit successfully, with no state patronage , on a level playing field.
How many of them can command any international standing , something that would do Singapore good. There were only 3, LKY, George and now Tharman.
How many good ideas have we seen. The cutesy LTA app ?
It is better to pay even more money if we could get the people we need. The PAP needs reform and it will not come from within.
The saddest thing about this lot is they can't see that Singapore is about Singaporeans. Anybody can see where that will go.

Boo business can be successful without state patronage. Look at hyflux, without state support from the initial stage, you think she can make it.? State patronage is very important but if you can't make it after the initial patronage is total disastrous
