Yet another prisoner escape in NZ today. Once again I have to highlight that this is what happens when there is no PAP in charge of the country.

Singaporeans should count their blessings that prisoner escapes happen only once in 50 years. In NZ, it is now becoming a weekly occurrence.

Police are searching for a 33-year-old man who escaped from court cells in Hamilton this morning.

Police said Michael Campbell, 33, escaped from the Hamilton Court cells about 10.15am this morning.

A warrant was now out for the Hamilton man's arrest, police said.

An investigation was now underway to find out how Campbell managed to escape, Senior Sergeant Rupert Friend said.

"However the most important issue for us at this time is his recapture. Associates of Campbell are reminded that anyone found helping an escaped prisoner to evade police could themselves face criminal charges."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Campbell was asked to call Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

They should stop prisoners playing chess and having rock carving as a hobby. :(:o:biggrin:

In movies like "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol", Tom Cruise shows how easy it is to break out of prison, especially in Eastern Europe. He can shoot the next prison break in NZ.
