They are in Taiwan to recce. In case PAP loses in Singapore, they can beat a retreat to Taiwan, defeat the locals there and take over. The US 7th Fleet will ensure that the Singapore's Workers' Party cannot extinguish the last flame of good government in Singapore. And in case the North Korea's Workers' Party want to get involved, the 7th Fleet will team up with the South Koreans and Japanese to beat the Korean WP back to the 33rd Parallel. Now do you understand why the grassroots must have a "retreat" to Taiwan?

Govt chalets with view of the sea aplenty in Singapore.. As grassroots por lumpars with direct access to the People's Association, they could easily rent few Govt chalets for free and hold their year end retreat there.. Not true. If this is the case, then why don't MOE send 300 primary teachers for retreat overseas too? Or HDB send 200 staff, etc. Why PA so privileged? These crassloot leeders are all hiding behind the skirt of the Minister. As long as he is there on the trip, they cannot kenna any backlash mah. He is protecting them from any retribution. Like this how can even the auditor general or CPIB investigate? Who dare to investigate Minister's trip?
