The People's Action Party's (PAP) slate of potential candidates for opposition-held Aljunied GRC is "getting into place" former PAP chairman, Lim Boon Heng said last night.
He spoke to reporters during a community event attended by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, in the PM's first public appearance in Aljunied GRC since his party lost the constituency to the Workers' Party in the May 2011 General Election.

The PAP runs the show ...the PAP enact policies...to say that the increased cost of living has nothing to do with the PAP is pure bs. Our lives are totally controlled by the PAP.
It is not the job of opposition MPs to do the PAP's work. The Opposition is there to critique and criticise, not to offer solution. The PAP's version of democracy is self-serving. It wants to be the highest paid public servants in the world, claiming their superior talent, yet it doesn't have the brains to prove that they are best. Only sinkees will put up with that. In true democracy, the PAP would have been long gone.
Every country has its constraints and find a way around it. PAP keeps harping on these constraints to justify its policies which are now seen as detrimental to the well-being of the country. There are enough successful small states for sinkapore to learn from. We have ministers making frequents trip overseas supposedly to learn from them. Those are just jiat hong trips ...they come back with nothing to show.
It is time we stop doing politics the PAP way. The opposition needs to whack them hard, like how the Republicans whacked Obama with lies. Opposition has enough facts to whack PAP hard.

talking about lim boon heng makes me think how fake pap cronies are. hokkien word is "geh ho sim" or pretend to be good hearted. they like to portray their image that they are the kindest and bestest, others who voice out against them are bad pple. i'd not hesitate to spit at pap cronies if i need to.
