Let me tell u my story about how casino "jinx" the gamblers.
I began to observe these after a taxi-driver told me when I went to the old Lisbao casino in Macau some 2 decades back.

1. He said the entrance is shaped with a tiger mouth...swallowing the gambler as he goes into the tiger's mouth..He told me to go by the side door.
I used the side door . I won some $1000 HKD then and that more than paid for the visa fees then...
2. Casinos are named ..such as Luxor, Pyramid ..these names are buildings to house the dead...so u go in to be killed and buried there.
3. Genting Awana is shaped like a bird cage...to trap u in...
4. Genting has on its many walls pictures of bad omen...like a trapeze artist falling after losing his grip or a lion opening its mouth to maul u.

And back home Marina Bay sands...It has a big ship sitting on its top....this is to ensure that u lie under the ship at the bottom on the ocean bed... one is dead and drown to be at the ocean bed.

Got the picture..??? Now u know Why House always win...

Casino is a sure win business but it's definitely not a sure profitable business (given the right amount of competition).
Sillypore only has 2 hence they can sustain profitability. however if there's several or more like what's going on in Macau or Las Vegas,
then some of them will close shops and new ones will come up.

Gambling at the casino is all about the experience... peasants don't understand this and only seek to 'huat' at a gambling table so they can 'upgrade' from their miserable existence. :rolleyes:

thats why i only play poker and invest in stocks.....there is no point in casinos once u realise there is no way u can beat the casino,it is mathematically impossible and negative expectation.then u realise what number or what card comes next whether u win or lose does not matter its just randomness because the act of gambling itself is already costing u money every minute u spend in the casino is costing u money.

hahha. how right you are. sinkies are the worst in term of superstitions. no wonder so many idiots around. even in taiwan and china they do not observe hungry ghosts month that intensively. only stupid idiots keep burning paper for ghosts, a practice outlawed in taiwan.
simple explanation why casino always win is the science of probability. even the roulette are fixed. they put in 2 zeroes and coloured them green to offset the win probability of 0.5 for balck or red slots to benefit the casinoes. such a simple explanation stupid sinkies cannot understand. answer staring at them in the face and they go looking for some "hidden" self deluded "bird cage" or "tiger mouth" crap. no wonder so many losers in sinkieland. I am amazed at thier stupidity and superstitions.
