i vacumn 6 days out of 7 coz i have a black cat who sheds plenty and white floor......
so dont tell me i opened it and forgot
latch type.
and NO WAY i opened and forgot to close because that side, i NEVER open. it has only been open by handyman to fix the lock a few months ago

like i said i am a clean freak. i made sure when handy man came that it was adjusted super properly
i never open that side plus the cat door is on the side, so another reason, i dont slide open that side,
also that side, got obstacles to walking back and forth freely, so yet another reason for never opening that side
