Well said from a true patriot. More hardship for Singaporeans if PAP remains in charge.

I shall trust pap and any papee, crony or associated family and/or anything (any papeeish gibberish) the day when someone or anyone show a pig and an elephant up on a durian tree playing chess and drinking tea.

In reality, the nation have been providing welfare state benefits "minimum wages" in millions to each individual leech aka papee, (juz because of one party rule system) to leeches aka papees leeching on the system. These leeches aka papees wasting nation's time and resources and etc every single second of the Mother Earth's day. By some unfortunate default, we as a nation have to put food on table and tonnes of $$$ for these leeches...
The country needs the government (employees of the public) to work for the country.
Can these leeches aka papees become self reliant? Get a job and be prepared to work hard
at least for once in a lifetime. Stop Leeching on the system.

The so called "property tax" which the IRA explains:" In the context of Property Tax, an "owner" is the person receiving rent for any premises whether on his account, as an agent/trustee/representative of the legal owner; or the person whose name is entered in the Valuation List. He may not necessarily be the legal owner although the 'owner' for Property Tax is usually the legal owner." As such, 99yr HDB leasees receive a "property tax" bill which puts their unit at a NAV that assumed unit's being rented out and "virtual" or estimated taxable income.
1.) how many do not rent out unit?
1a.) As per (1), it is against HDB's policies on conditions after purchase, where it says:" You can sublet your whole flat after the 5-year minimum occupation period. However, prior approval from HDB must be obtained before subletting of your whole flat."
1b.) Therefore, if one is in a new estate where one into the 1st five years of 99yrlease, one CANNOT BE RENTING OUT the unit.
2.) However, one being asked to pay "property tax" based on some NAV which assumed some rental income...So if one pay property tax as stipulated by IRA to be "against the law" if one don't, one will be indirectly saying "I am subletting my unit out"? which is against the "conditions after purchase" of the HDB?
Pls advise as the two stat boards appeared to be contradicting each other.
