This is also a joke. Ah longs and pimps are still "kings" in the country. The mata mata are useless. They cannot eradicate the ah longs and pimps. What concentration did they do?

Issuing summonses is their favourite work in combating traffic offences. Any school boy can do it. Catching speedsters and dangerous drivers? If got chance to do nothing, they do nothing.

Nowadays catching speedsters don't need mobile squad any more they plant many HD cameras
if you're caught speeding & using handphone ~ one word: Mati!

森林商业中心“黑店”风波不断，新加坡旅游局首次援引保护消费者公平交易法令，向高庭申请永久禁制令获准，禁止屡劝不听的一家“黑店”进行不公平交易方式。

另一家在近两星期内涉及数起行销手法不当案件的手机店Mobile Air，昨天再次发生类似交易手法的纠纷。

接二连三的商业纠纷也严重影响森林商业中心的名声，管理理事会昨天更向媒体发出公开求助信，希望任何一个执法单位能前来协助解决森林商业中心内的黑店问题。

Someone should do an investigation on the relationship the PAP govt, CASE, Tourism Board and travel agencies have with these ah beng 'black shops' at Sim Lim Square.

I suspect that they all have mutually benefited from ferrying unsuspecting tourists to shop there. All the money scammed gets lumped into the category called 'revenue from tourism'. :wink:
